Homeless Shelter Manager needed to oversee day-to-day operations of our Women and Children's Shelter in Pasco County. This is a professional, managerial position requiring the exercise of significant independent judgment and extensive knowledge of the theories and practices of a community-based residential environment focusing on homeless adults and families. Primary responsibilities include operations, programs, policies, activities, and services. Manager will also assist in development of and monitoring of an annual budget. Oversee continuous process improvement through program evaluation, resident outcome measures, satisfaction survey, and other quality assurance techniques in addition to participation in county-wide collaboration to prevent and end homelessness. The Manager is responsible for compliance with all federal, state, and local regulatory requirements as contained in grants and contracts.
Requirements include a Masters Degree in Human Services, License preferred. Must have the ability to supervise professional and paraprofessional employees in a human services environment. Significant experience with crisis intervention and prevention is required. Must possess excellent communication, public speaking, interpersonal, computer and writing skills.
